Accessibility Statement

Last updated October 16, 2026

DRAFT – pending legal review. A lawyer hasn't reviewed this page yet, so it may change. Open points that a lawyer or the owner still has to confirm are marked like [Lawyer to confirm]. A few details on this page, like our contact email, are still being finalized and are marked like [THIS].

The short version

  • We aim for DealPrep to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
  • Automated checks of our main public pages found no problems, but automated tools only catch some issues, so we may have gaps.
  • Some parts, such as timed exams, have time limits we can't yet adjust on our own. Email us and we'll work with you on an accommodation.

This summary is here to help; the full text below is what applies.

1. Our aim

We want everyone preparing for a finance career to be able to use DealPrep, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology. Our target is WCAG 2.1 level AA. This is a target, not a promise that every page already meets it.

2. What we've checked

  • In October 2026 we ran automated accessibility scans (Lighthouse and axe) on seven public pages: the home page, career paths, the Circle page, sign up, log in, the Terms and the Privacy Policy. They scored 100 on Lighthouse's accessibility check and reported no axe violations.
  • Automated tools find only part of the possible problems. [To confirm: whether we have also tested by hand with a screen reader and keyboard, or had an independent accessibility audit. Until we do, please treat this page as a work in progress.]
  • We haven't scanned the signed-in pages (practice, tests, flashcards, interviews and the Circle) in the same way yet. [To confirm.]

3. Known limitations

  • Timed exams: timed tests, Readiness Exams and the Circle qualifying exam have time limits, and we don't yet have a built-in way to extend them for people who need more time. Leaving the exam window also counts toward our exam-integrity checks, which can affect people who use assistive technology. If this affects you, email us for an accommodation (see section 4).
  • Voice interviews need a microphone. Typing is always available as an alternative.
  • AI feedback and scores are text only and can be wrong (see how we use AI).
  • Some content, such as financial charts, formulas and worked examples, may be harder to follow with a screen reader. Tell us what doesn't work and we'll fix what we can. [To confirm.]
  • Pages run by other companies, such as Stripe's checkout and Google's sign-in, follow those companies' own accessibility practices.

4. Ask for an accommodation, or tell us about a problem

If something on DealPrep is hard to use, or you need an adjustment such as extra time on an exam, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. Tell us:

  • what page or feature it is, and what got in your way;
  • the browser, device and any assistive technology you use;
  • what you need, such as extra time, or the same content in another format.

We'll reply as fast as we can [target to confirm] and work with you on a solution. We can't promise a particular fix or timing for every request, but we'll tell you what we can do.

You don't have to share any medical details.

5. Updates

We'll update this statement as we test more of DealPrep and fix what we find, and change the date at the top.

We use the cookies DealPrep needs to work, like keeping you logged in. With your OK, we'd also use analytics cookies and error replays (with all text and typing hidden) to see how DealPrep is used and fix problems. No ads, ever. Cookie Policy
